HPLC, in plain terms.
High-performance liquid chromatography pushes a dissolved sample through a column that separates it into its components. The main compound comes off as one peak; anything else shows up as its own. The area under that main peak, against the rest, is what the purity figure describes — a direct measurement of how much of the sample is the thing you ordered.
We run it per lot, not once per product, because a synthesis run is a physical thing — two batches of the same peptide are not automatically identical. Testing the batch you receive is the only way the number on the paper means anything about the vial in your hand. That measured value is what gets printed. We don't average across batches, and we don't quote a target in place of a result.

The COA is the document that carries the result. It isn't a stock certificate reused across the catalog — it's issued for a single lot and describes only that batch. Here's what it holds, and why each field is on it.
